Collage provides two optional programs that allow you to convert legacy system jobs into Collage jobs for output:
You may have some jobs created on old software that need to be output again. The Archive Readers allow you to convert a job into a Collage job, and then send it to the engraver or other device.
Since Collage software is very different from those older systems, there are limitations to the editing that can be done to a converted job. For example, CCS jobs are pre-ripped to engrave resolution while Collage works in native resolution.
Legacy software is "frozen in time" -- no more changes are being made to the software, and hardware replacement may be impossible. Whether you have a CCS system or a GravoComplete system, a move to Collage offers many benefits. Learn more about Collage »
When you consider replacing a legacy system with Collage, remember that old jobs may be converted into Collage jobs.
