The Collage Part of the Workflow
Collage fits seamlessly into your company network. Our expert technicans set everything up for you. Training is included and takes only a few days.
Simple jobs are created very quickly; complex jobs take just a bit longer. The user interface is very intuitive, and the online help is comprehensive.
- The package design is created on the design computer; saved in PDF, PostScript or TIFF; copied to the Collage computer.
- In Collage, a job is created and the images needed are imported, including marks images.
- Specify the layout values: steps across and repeats down; vertical or horizontal gutters; bleeds; staggered rise-drop, and more. Complex layouts, such as those requiring nesting, are easily done. View the layout on-screen in full color.
- Image quality can be enhanced with custom gamma and sharpness curves. Different curves can be applied to different colors of the job. You can even apply a curve to a selected area of the image.
- Set the parameters for the output device required:

Engravers (Gravostar, Hell K500, DTG, Laserstar)

Any device that accepts TIFF input, such as a Computer-to-plate device
- Check the job on-screen: zoom up to any level, even close enough to see actual output data, including gamma and sharpness. View one color at a time or any combination of colors. When satisfied, print to a wide-format proofing device. Electronic approval is available.
- Set the job Ready for Print. It can now be accessed for output on the desired device.
- Archive jobs with their images and other files to free up space for new jobs. It's easy to restore the job for remakes or changes.
