With several versions of Collage software, how do you choose the correct one for your needs? It can be as important to know what is not included in a product as to know what is.
CLS refers to Collage and Collage-S
CLS-E refers to Collage-E

Do you need to create job layouts from several images? Or do you receive full-ups?
- CLS and CLS-L can do everything needed for any job layout, from the most complex to the simplest, using one or more one-up images. Full-ups (fully stepped-and-repeated) can also be accepted.
- CLS-E only accept full-ups.
Do you need to add job identifying text, block unwanted areas of images, or enhance selected portions of images with gamma, sharpness or tranScribe?
- Only available in CLS and CLS-L. Using the Position Editor, you can apply these to all images in the layout or only some of them.
Do you ever need to touch up an image?
- Only available in CLS. You can touch up problem areas in a separation of an image.
Do you have an automated engraving line?
- Only CLS and CLS-E include software for integration into an automated line.
Would you like to calculate ink usage for jobs?
- Only CLS and CLS-E include the Collage Ink Volume Calculator.
Do you often print the same job with image variations?
- In CLS and CLS-E, job templates and hot folders can improve productivity.
Do you need color match across a cylinder?
- Only CLS includes Global Horizontal Adjust and Position Snapping.

Do you need a low-cost solution for limited work?
Collage-L and RTI-E are for Gravostar output only. Both are limited, entry-level programs.
- Collage-L is a limited version of Collage. It works with all separations at once, allows complex multiple image layout, includes several tools to enhance quality. Archive jobs for future remakes.
- RTI-E works with a single fully-stepped-and-repeated image per cylinder; the only quality improvement possible is to add gamma or tranScribe to the cylinder. No archive.
