Collage includes all the tools you need to produce layouts for gravure cylinders, CTP films, or laser cylinders. Today's printers need the advantages of speed, efficiency, flexibility and quality that Collage provides.
Collage is available in two architectures, with identical software:
Collage offers flexibility for image input into a job: PDF, PostScript, Tiff and Handshake images can be used. Learn more about image input for Collage.
Use Collage to create jobs for output on Gravostar engravers, Helio engravers, Laserstar imagers, Computer-to-Plate devices, and DTG-controlled engravers.
Productivity -- Productivity tools include templates; defaults files; automatic job creation for repetitive jobs. Read in old jobs from a CCS system or a GravoComplete system. Collage is designed to fit into a fully-automated line for true “lights-out” production.
Flexibility -- Images can be Collage format, TIFF, PDF, PostScript, or Handshake. Create the layout in Collage or import the full-up layout from the design system. Collage lets you work the way you want to work.
Quality -- Collage includes tools to modify images as required by the final output method: add sharpness (edge enhancement) or gamma (gradation) curves to an entire job, one separation, one single image, a specific area of an image, or any combination needed. With some image formats, you can even use separate curves for CT and for LW.
Specialty Work -- The advanced tranScribe® Engraving System allows for extreme precision when engraving fine line work or very small text. Learn more about tranScribe.
Included Tools -- The Collage suite includes Gamma Curve Editor, Sharpness Editor, Ink Volume Calculator, CCS Archive Reader, the tranScribe® Filter Editor, the Archive Manager, and much more.
