DR&D Announces End Of Life Products

Recently Daetwyler R&D Corp sent Product End of Life letters to their customers for B-700 series, M811, M820, and M900 engravers. This action was taken due to the lack of availability of parts from certain suppliers, but company officials stress this does not mean customers with those engravers have been abandoned.
In the letters, Daetwyler R&D made it clear to customers that “End of Life does not mean End of Support.” These old engravers have given many years of service, and DR&D recognizes that customers may not have the option to purchase new machines at this time. Keeping aging equipment running is critical.
Udo Dittmar, President of DR&D, explains, “We will do whatever it takes to keep our customers in production. We have parts on hand, even for parts no longer manufactured by the suppliers. When no new parts are available, we can often repair or refurbish parts. And we offer upgrades or exchanges if repair is impossible.”
While Daetwyler R&D continues to design and build new engravers, to expand the capabilities of the Collage Layout System, and to develop machines for printed electronics, DR&D is committed to keeping all engravers in production.
