Daetwyler R&D introduced the AccuPress™ MicroGravure Printing system* at the Printed Electronics World show in San Jose this December 2009. Earlier this month, Western Michigan University and DR&D announced a partnership in printed electronics, which will include an AccuPress. Read more »
Attendance at the show was up 25% from last year, according to IdTechEx.

Interest in our products was very high. Representatives from many domestic and international companies stopped by the DR&D booth. Donna Aker, Executive Assistant kept things organized.
Eric Serenius, VP, and Kent Seibel, Technical Sales, discussed the AccuPress, the µStar, and the high-precision engineered cylinders DR&D can manufacture with potential customers.

Udo Dittmar, President, sees that in comparison to prior years Daetwyler R&D is well known in other industries than packaging and publication printing. The high demand for DR&D products shows the wide acceptance of our high precision equipment for the low cost production of printed electronics, optical, solar lighting and medical applications.
We were happy to re-connect with several people at the show who remembered Ohio Electronic Engravers (OEE), which later became Daetwyler R&D Corp.
In February, Daetwyler R&D will be at the FlexTech show in Phoenix AZ, where DR&D has been invited to speak. Eric Serenius, VP of DR&D, will discuss "MicroGravure Advancements: 'Completing the Cycle'."
