Daetwyler R&D Corporation is an Engineering R&D and Software Development company that has resided in Dayton, Ohio USA for 30 years. We are precision equipment and software developers with an expertise in gravure printing. Our customer and equipment base extends over 50 countries.
Printed Electronics and More
We are leveraging our gravure industry leadership for application in the printed electronics market. The µStar™ MicroEngraving System and the AccuPress MicroGravure Printer are two examples of this move. We are leading the way for non-traditional uses of gravure with our engineered cylinders, where we hold accuracies as tight as 5µm.

Gravure Printing Market
Our experienced personnel build and tune the advanced VISION engrave heads and design and assemble all electronic boards for the Gravostar machine. The GS 857 and GS 827 engravers, developed in Dayton, are completely assembled in our facility. DR&D software engineers develop embedded software and the Collage Layout Software.
